I've wanted to start a podcast for a while, so I finally stopped thinking about it and just did it.
It's called Merak.
The Idea
I spend most of my time around tech, startups, crypto and AI, so naturally a lot of the people I want to talk to come from those worlds. Founders, builders, investors, developers, and people doing interesting things on the internet.
But I don't really want to make another podcast where people come to pitch what they're building or answer my 10 preprepared questions for an hour and I don't even get to talk to them like I would to a normal human being over a cup of coffee.
I'm equally interested in the technology and the people behind it.
That's pretty much the whole idea: talk to interesting people, have good conversations, and see where it goes.
What We Get Into
Topics: Startups, entrepreneurship, tech, AI, crypto, blockchain, investing, money, business, science, health, psychology, philosophy, success and failure, life, wealth, and whatever else we find interesting.
People: Founders, entrepreneurs, builders, developers, researchers, scientists, investors, creators, artists, hackers, independent thinkers, and generally interesting people doing interesting things.
Why call it "Merak"
In Serbia, merak is more than a word. It's almost a philosophy of life. It describes a particular kind of happiness. Not the excitement of achieving something big, but the quiet satisfaction of doing something simply because you enjoy it.
Seemed fitting.
